Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, Federalist Society co-chair Leonard Leo, arranged for Ginni Thomas to be paid tens of thousands of dollars for consulting work and urged that her name be left off the invoices.

Then, on the rest of the menu, Oregon state Republicans boycotted the legislature for the second straight day so Democrats who control the chamber don’t have a quorum to lawfully convene a vote; the Republican Iowa governor will sign a bill to yank kids out of school and put them on the meat packing floor for the night shift; and, scores of new hearings were granted after it was discovered a Maryland judge negotiated a job position with local prosecutors.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where foreign citizens and companies would need US government approval to buy property within 100 miles of eight military bases; and, China is the biggest global jailer of journalists.
