The GOP hates and fears Gen Z. The whippersnappers recognize right-wing culture wars for what they are: tawdry camouflage for the avarice and entitlement of corporate oligarchs.

The Republican Party functions today as the political wing of a plutocratic terrorist cartel. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) provided a shrewd historical analysis of the GOP scheme in a series of Senate floor speeches.

The hypocrisy and destructiveness of the corporate attack on universal values laid the groundwork for Trump’s crime spree.

Gen Z activists and their allies across American society now have launched a full-court press against right-wing nihilism.

It’s inspiring to watch GenZ’s Tinker-to-Evers-to-Chance defense against the GOP assault on values embodied in the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Earlier this month, three Iowa honors students deftly checkmated Gov. Kim Reynolds’ cynical bid to co-opt their scholarly achievements.

The Iowa students’ triple play blasted three GOP kulturkampf campaigns: book-banning, defunding public education, and demonizing trans citizens.

Gen Z activists recognize that dignity is the indivisible, inalienable human right.

Solidarity against GOP attacks on LGBTQA+ expression, academic integrity, collective bargaining, freedom of the press, racial equity, child labor laws, environmental stewardship, women’s right to choose, equitable income distribution, and fair elections form a seamless whole.

As in so many other situations, politics is a metaphor for the timeless beauty of baseball:
