How To Help People Move To Safe States [1]

This will be a short diary, because it’s more a question, or suggestion, than a report. I read this recent article about trans people crowdfunding to get help moving out of Florida. I would like to help — not just trans, but also women, minorities, other LGBTQ, and any other people whose human rights are threatened — to move to safer, more inclusive, states. Crowdfunding is a very inefficient way to do that; I would prefer to donate to an organization that provides the vetting to make sure funds go where needed, and only to the extent needed. I would also prefer one organization that provides assistance to all these groups.

Does anyone here know of a single organization that provides this kind of help (moving expenses and support) to women, minorities, LGBTQ and other marginalized groups? If not, is there some interest in starting something like this? I’d be willing to help, but I don’t have very much time (or experience!), so I couldn’t be the lead person.
