What do you do to help get out of depression? [1]

Above is my self portrait.

I have been very depressed as of late. I suffer from clinical depression and I take meds for it, but nothing seems to be helping at the moment.

Due to health and economic reasons I am way down in the dumps. I thought I was doing better the other day when I finally got home from the hospital but my depression hit me like a ton of bricks.

Most of the time as of late I just want to toss in the towel and give up.

I know there is no magic wand anyone can wave to help but short of winning the lottery or trading my body in for a whole new one I am at wits end.

When you get totally down does anything help?
