The dishonesty in their attempted smear of President Biden is disgusting! [1]

James Comer is as dishonest a member of Congress as there is, rivaling even George Santos. He has seen the document and he knows that there is nothing to this. He knows that the credible confidential human source is only reporting something somebody else with unknown credibility is telling him, something that the credible human source hasn't been able to verify. He has no interest in whether there is anything criminal or unethical to this because he knows there is no way to know if the original source is accurate or not. In fact, it's not unlikely that this is Russian disinformation. His only purpose is to lower President Biden's poll numbers. And when this is revealed to be nothing to those who don't follow politics closely (those who closely observe or follow politics either knew or could guess that there was nothing to this), then he will push some other smear else that he knows is bogus. And naive as I am for saying this, that is absolutely disgusting.

Here's what Representative Jamie Raskin said, "Yeah, there's a confidential human source that the FBI works with who is proven to be very credible who reported a conversation with someone else. That confidential human source said that he had no way of knowing about the underlying veracity of the things that he was being told. And so, it's not the source's information, it's the information that he reported from a conversation with someone else that he was not able to verify or authenticate which is often the case. We're talking about second hand hearsay here. And so it's not the source, the confidential human source, who is the origin of this particular claim. That confidential human source is the person who reported that someone else was saying this and that's why this task force was created which examined it and then determined there was no reason to move up the chain of investigative procedures. "

Then Ben Meiselas said, "So to be clear, a foreign asset, someone with links to Vladimir Putin, funneled information through Rudy Giuliani to an actual kind of human source and this not credible foreign asset through Guliani to a source that is credible, the source that is credible said that this is not credible and then BILL BARR said, 'Like, let's end this here. Like there's nothing to this at all. ' That is what the MAGA Republicans are putting out there right now. This is where they're saying, 'Well, look this FBI investigator was credible.' "
