Reactions to trump's self-immolation on Fox with Bret Baier [1]

trump, as usual, came prepared for an interview with Fox’s Bret Baier, hoping to bray his usual narcissist talking points, which work so well with his brain-dead MAGA supporters. He was probably confident that his recent trashing of Fox will intimidate Fox hosts to give him full freedom to spread his lies and deceptions. But he seemed to have run into buzz-saw Baier, who simply came prepared with a few facts, hoping to goad/guide trump into addressing some obvious questions about him. What followed was a disastrous hour of self-incrimination, as many of you have seen on the videos, some of which are posted below and in kos’s diary Fox News' Bret Baier eviscerates Donald Trump.

Kudos to Bret for interjecting a few facts and questions whenever trump wandered into his pre-prepared rants.

These words will surely impress a jury on why trump did not return classified documents immediately or even a year later, or even after a subpoena.

There is only one way any of this makes sense — trump (and republicans in general) speak only to their base and their base alone, as if the rest of the world does not exist.

Let’s hope that all of this makes trump’s defense in the legal cases against him, with more to come, more difficult, resulting in more republican leaders abandoning him, leading to republican moderates and independents finally throwing in the towel on supporting trump. Let’s do all we can to make that happen.
