Adam Schiff Says He Will Wear His Censure by the House GOP as a "Badge of Honor" [1]

Adam Schiff was censured by the House GOP today, on their second try, on a straight party-line vote. Apparently his all-time favorite orange person told the House Republicans that anyone who voted against censuring Schiff this time would get primaried from the right by MAGAs. Typical spiteful retribution. Anyway, Schiff gave another barnburner speech in response, saying he will wear this unjust censure as a “badge of honor” and a recognition of his effectiveness, that he will never apologize for doing his Constitutional duty, and pointedly asking why more of his R colleagues are not up there with him, calling out the most unjust, corrupt, unethical President this country has ever seen, but prefer to cower in the shadows. It’s only a little over five minutes, but it’s one for the ages. Enjoy.

I find it pretty amazing that they pulled this off on the same day Schiff was so effectively quizzing John Durham about his pathetically partisan and ineffective investigation, in the face of the Mueller Report and obvious Russian connections that even JD could not deny, but maybe that’s exactly why the GOP desperately wanted to censure a key Trump-opposing Dem today: to distract from all the Dems on that committee systematically tearing Durham a new one. What say you?
