Zucchini pancakes crackle in Lilia Kondrat's kitchen, breaking the silence of the usually noisy apartment. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, she has been trying to get used to this silence and her life alone.

She, like hundreds of thousands of others, is waiting for her husband from the war: she worries about him every day, carefully reads news from the front, and tries to save her relationship. Many other families, torn apart by the war, face this ordeal. In this film, two of them share their pains and dreams, anxieties and hopes, tears and joys — emotions experienced by millions of Ukrainians.
