We just celebrated a long over do recognized holiday celebrating the end of slavery and now we have to face a decision by a racist Supreme Court eliminating affirmative action in our higher learning institutes. I am just a common American who has sense enough to know that blacks were not the only ones to benefit from this law, But what really upsets me is that Asians are complaining and they did not march, the dogs were not turned loose on them, they were not beaten and killed so where do you get off on demanding the same advantages that our parents fought for. You came here on your own free will, we were brought here in chains. America to me is in a sad shape when a 96 year old women has to go to the white house and tell you what’s wrong with us. Let’s face it ,it is not about you getting a leg up its about you knowing who has been trying to keep it from you all these years and calling out their names in front of God and the country. The real people of America see you and they know what happen to Pharoah’s army they also know who the real leader is so it’s left up to us change American into what it is suppose to be and we can and we will regardless of the black leaders who think that they are well liked but don’t know they are being used. They have forgotten about the struggle, just because the other people don’t want their children know about our past we will continue to teach our kids about it. You want your kids to know about Robert E Lee but you don’t want them to know why he was fighting. I end this saying I will see you at the voting booth where we make a difference.
