The last day we were in Chicago for Netroots Nation, our flight was SUPPOSED to take off at 8pm so we decided to spend the afternoon, after we checked out of the hotel, at the Shedd Aquarium. We did the same thing after the Atlanta Netroots, too :).

It had Beluga Whales, Pacific White-Sided Dolphins, Sea Otters, and more. It ALSO had a great Reptile exhibit!

One of my friends in Second Life is a musician, and a crowd favorite and staple of his shows before his musical ability was stolen by a progressive neurological disease was his take on the Ray Wylie Hubbard song Snake Farm. When I saw this door, I HAD to snap a photo because it looks a lot like a repa-repa-repa-repa-reptile house!
