More Co-Conspirators? Sen. Chuck Grassley, Sen. Ron Johnson [1]

January 5, 2021:

During an exchange with reporters on {January 5th, 2021}, Grassley was asked how he plans to vote. “Well, first of all, I will be — if the Vice President isn’t there and we don’t expect him to be there, I will be presiding over the Senate,” according to a transcript of his remarks sent by a spokesperson.

Woah.

This is important in two ways — first, yes it is true that Grassley would then preside as President pro tempore of the Senate if Pence wasn’t there, but second — how could he have possibly assumed that?

There is the assumption that Pence wouldn’t attend. How could Grassley have come to that conclusion? It strongly suggests that he was on-the-inside with the rest of the conspirators, although that begs the question of which one Remember, he offered this, UNPROMPTED, in an interview with reporters.

Grassley did walk it back later on the same day, via a spokesman. This does place him as in the know.

Who else in the Senate was in on it?

We know that Senator Ron Johnson tried to get a copy of the fake electoral certificates to Pence on January 6th:

Notably, neither Grassley nor Johnson voted to sustain Electoral Vote objections. But these other eight Senators did:

Tommy Tuberville

Rick Scott

Roger Marshall

Cindy Hyde-Smith

Josh Hawley

Ted Cruz †

Cynthia Lummis

Now there are ten senators in on the coordinated Eastman/Chesebro plan.

Who among the Senators was the ringleader? I don’t think it was Grassley — his part to play would have been Pence’s replacement. When did that decision come about to try to replace Pence? Johnson quickly retreated and didn’t vote to interfere with Biden, so that leaves one of these other eight.

Were there any other Senators that have escaped notice? Who had staff helping at the Willard War Room?
