Photo Diary: North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum [1]

Every state capitol has its state history museum. Some are very good, some are not so good.

The North Dakota State Museum in Bismarck is the largest museum in the state. There is an exhibit of ancient life, featuring Cretaceous and Ice Age animals, a gallery of Native American artifacts and culture, and an exhibit of historical objects.

For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit.

“Dakota the Dino Mummy” is a hadrosaur which has preserved skin impressions
