Musings for Friday - Merriam-Webster's Word for the Day, 3 August 2023, "incarcerate" [1]

Merriam-Webster’s account on X, Xitter, Twitter (or whatever you want to call the app formerly known as Twitter) is fun to follow. The shade often provided is delightfully on point. Yesterday’s being a prime example.



Until TFG is incarcerated we’ll have to satisfy our desires to see justice with witticisms from wherever source we can. All the different historians on Twitter is another scholarly way. Micheal Beschloss’ shade is as notorious as Merriam-Webster’s.



I don’t think MW is concerned that suddenly MfL or any of the other book burners are going after them. (And if you don’t know what MfL means, I’ll tell you in the comments.) Let the idiots go out and buy a dictionary just to burn in a video.
