This being Tuesday, I am legally obligated to inform you that: 1) that the clock is ticking down towards a government shutdown, even though Joan is on vacation, and; 2) that it’s election day in Ohio, and you’re needed to cast your vote against the Republican attempt to turn Ohio into the US Senate.

By the way, the haircuts went just great!

One housekeeping note: I’ve gone ahead and joined Bluesky, despite my objection to joining another billionaire-owned social media platform. It looks and feels a lot like the pre-sale bird place, but I don’t know how much energy I have for actually monitoring and participating in 17 different social media universes.

But if I’m gonna do it, I might as well do it while they keep arresting Trump.

OK, the table is set! Let’s go! We’ve still got a current indictment to get through before they add another one. Plus maybe some more of the missing context and nuance from the Loudoun County school board battles.
