Previous Guy whines about Dark Brandon's merch -whadda tough guy [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2023-08-08 MAQA In a court document filed in Washington DC on Monday, Mr Trump’s attorneys complained that Mr Biden is capitalising on the former president’s legal troubles with the meme post. “President Biden has likewise capitalized on the indictment, posting a thinly veiled reference to his administration’s prosecution of President Trump just hours before arraignment,” his attorneys wrote in the filing. The court document then included a photo of the offending image, showing Mr Biden’s video post on his personal account on X – formerly known as Twitter. In the video, the president is seen drinking a cup of coffee from a mug featuring an image of Mr Biden with lasers coming out of his eyes – also known as “Dark Brandon”. www.independent.co.uk/... “The most important thing to know about Trump’s opposition to the government’s proposed protective order is this: He wants the freedom to disclose witness interviews, recordings, etc. conducted outside the grand jury.” x But it's more than timing. A protective order that allows Trump to reveal the identity of witnesses and discuss the substance of their statements outside the grand jury could 1) prejudice potential jurors; and 2) intimidate, if not endanger, some of the most helpful witnesses. 6/ — Lisa Rubin (@lawofruby) August 7, 2023 “That would theoretically allow him to reveal the names and publish the statements of those who spoke to DOJ/the Special Counsel *outside the grand jury* and/or could be cooperating,” she explains. “A protective order that allows Trump to reveal the identity of witnesses and discuss the substance of their statements outside the grand jury could 1) prejudice potential jurors; and 2) intimidate, if not endanger, some of the most helpful witnesses.” www.thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/... Since January, former President Donald Trump has amplified content on Truth Social that features posts from “Q,” the QAnon conspiracy theory’s central figure, at least four times — a new milestone in the former president’s relationship with the conspiracy theory. During his presidency, Trump repeatedly amplified Twitter accounts promoting the QAnon conspiracy theory — a movement which began in October 2017, when a poster calling themself “Q” started claiming on far-right message boards that Trump was secretly fighting a battle to take down a satanic cabal of pedophiles. By the time Trump’s Twitter account was suspended in the final days of his presidency, he had amplified QAnon-promoting accounts on the platform more than 300 times. Trump also praised the QAnon community multiple times, and after he left office, QAnon show co-hosts known online as “intheMatrixxx” and “ShadyGrooove” received press credentials for a Trump rally. Associates of Trump reportedly tried to “weed out any QAnon influences — both adherents and postings — getting close to him” and tried to distance the MAGA movement more broadly from the conspiracy theory movement. But instead, Trump has continued to amplify the movement, reposting QAnon-promoting accounts on Truth Social over 630 times since he began actively using the platform in late April 2022. And now he has reached a new milestone: amplifying posts from QAnon’s central figure. Since January, Trump has boosted posts from Q — known as “Q drops” — at least four times. www.mediamatters.org/... x Trump's stock DWAC (the SPAC for his failing Truth Social), like Fatboy himself, is fading fast. It traded over $90 in 2022, now $15, down 83%! MTG, like other MAGA morons, paid $94 a share! She's getting destroyed. Don't like Trump? Short DWAC, he owns 90%. — Sheldon Cassidy (@SheldonCassidy2) August 8, 2023 [END] --- [1] Url: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/8/8/2186024/-Previous-Guy-whines-about-Dark-Brandon-s-merch-whadda-tough-guy Published and (C) by Daily Kos Content appears here under this condition or license: Site content may be used for any purpose without permission unless otherwise specified. via Magical.Fish Gopher News Feeds: gopher://magical.fish/1/feeds/news/dailykos/
