Ok, this is breaking news (to me) — I happened to be over on X-twitter and report in from @MorganRomero about 18 hours ago that:

https://twitter.com/mrnaeem/status/1690354827224612864 From Gem County Jail: Ammon Bundy arrested on contempt charge out of Ada Co. He has option of bonding out at $10K. He’ll wait there over weekend if he doesn’t bond out & speak w/ judge Mon morning. They‘ll transport him to Ada Co when they want to pick him up

Was told it occurred at a football fundraiser in Emmett. Bundy’s People’s Rights Network also sent out a blast text

So frustrating that he even allow him bail, since he wouldn’t pay if he defaulted, he evaded arrest for so damn long… but it’s a first step, I guess. I’ve been watching him scoff at the law every since he shat all over Malheur Reserve, and I’m still praying for him to be held accountable!

According to CBS2, he remained in custody as of Saturday morning. According to social media posts from Bundy's associates, he was arrested while attending a fundraising banquet for his son's football team at Emmet High School. A video shared by his official X, formerly known as Twitter, account showed the activist being taken away in handcuffs as supporters booed. The post also called on Bundy's supporters to gather outside the Gem County Sheriff's Office to protest.

Oh, let’s hope he refuses to do bail!
