Morning Open Thread-It's back... Midnight Special [1]

The 70’s in all of it’s glory are back. The T.V. show Midnight Special has been dumping it’s content on You Tube and it’s pretty fun. So get ready for terrible outfits, six inch lapels, no bras, feathered hair, even worse mustaches, afros with their own gravitational pull and enough coke to kill an elephant.

Though he is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I still don’t think the drummer Clem Burke gets mentioned enough for how damned good he is.

Can you imagine how awkward it had to be singing this song knowing the dynamics of their marriages at this point?

James Brown had the best freakin band ever.

I didn’t realize that Freddy Mercury didn’t invent this awful get up.
