Got a Good Tongue Twister? (I'll never be Jeremy, but...) [1]

So a little while back, jamess posted a diary that featured a MeidasTouch video of Legal AF’s Michael Popok talking about Jack Smith’s approach to prosecuting Donald Trump. At one point in the video, Popok intended to say the word “jump”, but instead said the word “Trump”. He quickly corrected himself and moved smoothly on, but my mind, working as it does, missed the next little bit of what he said because it was busy thinking, “Jump Trump. That sounds like a tongue twister. I wonder if I can say it 10 times fast without tripping up.”

Go, ahead, try it. See if you can say “Jump Trump” out loud 10 times fast. Turns out that I couldn’t and that Michal Popok via jamess’s diary had inadvertently gifted me the delight of a fun tongue twister.

After I dropped a comment on jamess’s diary, I started thinking, “Hey, “What’s your favorite tongue twister would make a good diary in the spirit of Jeremy aka BF Skinner aka Cameron Prof.” Then I got busy and sort of forgot, but tonight I remembered, so here it is.

And a quick reflection, I’ve really got to hand it to Jeremy. Thinking up ideas for this kind of diary is no easy task. He was able to do it week after week. I’m not that bright, but I’m happy to post them as I come up with them. I always enjoyed seeing his and reading the variety of comments that invariably resulted. It’s always a fun way to take a break from the intensity of politics for a few.
