From ABC News, on Friday at 4:02pm the Arkansas Department of Education removed the College Board’s AP African American Studies course from its schools the day before classes started Monday in a move the Arkansas Education Association called a “last minute decision,” in keeping with the tried and true strategy of Florida Dick-taters everywhere who figure that the children of Black people/voters in their states do not deserve to accurately learn about their own history because it makes bigoted white parent’s uncomfortable when their children ask them about that sh*t they worked so hard not to tell them, so they might someday grow up, not go to college, and learn anything thats actually real, and thus continue to vote for Republicans.

I worked really hard to make that a decently long run-on sentence, you’re welcome.

The College Board told ABC News that more than 200 colleges and Universities have signed on to provide college credit for the course, “including the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, the flagship institution of the University of Arkansas System.”

This is a site vital to the nation’s Black History. The LIttle Rock 9 and desegregation. WTF. There’s a lot more to be said here, but will leave it to someone else. I’m too tired and disgusted to write anymore about it.
