Thank you very much for your reply! Zee and ‘Risa were a bit confused, though (or so they said) and kept asking “What hair?”

But here’s a new question; as you may know (or possibly not), Zee and ‘Risa are being acquainted with “talking buttons”.

I suspect hijinks and schemes, so my real question is — Should I worry?

PS — I imagine you’re going to be a greater influencer than even your sister, who I am sure is charming and delightful, but doesn’t even have her own advice column.

Yes, yes, yes! You should worry!! Talking buttons are a wickedly-devised pathway to the dark side. Train dogs to speak like hoomins? If they are “saying” anything other than Treats! Treats! Sex! Treats! then it’s horse-pucky and possibly sinister.

PS — my sister heard about my column and wants to monetize it! not just tshirts and stuff. She wants me to record personalized messages for $325 (what Rudy currently charges).

Well, rest assured, I lead a very austere and simple life and would find such things unseemly!

Send money to the Maui Strong fund. www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org/...My hoomin mom also grew up in Hawaii. She says the Hawaiian people and music are wonderful! But they also have some odd customs, like making Spam sushi.
