Project Not So True [1]

Ever notice how most labels that Republicans and the far right use, are the antithesis of what they truly stand for?

Which is why Moms for 'Liberty' and the 'Freedom' Caucus are about THEIR 'liberty and freedom' to discriminate against and curtail the liberties and freedoms of everyone else, and why Trump's 'Truth' Social is neither truthful nor sociable.

And it's also why Project 'Veritas' was too often, NOT, exactly.

In fact, its founder and former head honcho was, from the very start, a manipulative con-man whose fraudulently edited video "expose" resulted in the defunding of ACORN, a community activist group that, besides voter registration drives in mostly minority communities, served said communities in other ways as well.

Of course, his deception was later exposed for the piece of garbage it WAS, and O'Keefe offered a lame apology to his victims and paid what amounted to a two-bit restitution to the falsely accused, but by then the damage had already been done, as was his intent.

And later in his NOT so illustrious 'career" he and his fellow henchmen were busted trying to gain illegal access to a U.S. senator's office, under the also fraudulent guise of telephone repairmen, a crime for which he'd spent not so much as a single day in jail, such being the privileges afforded to people like HIM.

Which is precisely why it seems FITTINGLY ironic that now, after all of the deception and underhanded dealings, he's under investigation, again for fraud, though this time, allegedly for defrauding his OWN organization.

Though I'd imagine, such are the consequences of keeping company with a "lying sack of s----" and a "fkn scumbag"... as it were.
