Meet Cory Mills. Another douchebag, lying, blowhard Republikkkan congressthing from Florida. Typical rightwing brainiac with an AA from a public FL junior college and a BS and MA from a for-profit, online-only WV diploma mill. He served in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne, implying that he was in Special Ops. He was not. He says that he was deployed, wounded, and decorated - but details are scarce. He spent 5 to 6 years working for defense contractors that derived all income (between 95% to 98%) from government contracts. He refers to his time working for a civilian contractor overseas as "service" in Iraq and Afghanistan!

To top his fairy tales off, he convinced American Pravda - Faux Nooz - that the family of a 23 yo woman serving in the Marines in Afghanistan and killed during the withdrawal was forced to pay $60K out of their own pocket to have the body transported and buried at Arlington. None of that is true (Fox eventually took the story down but did not say why - as they should!). In true facist fashion, Mills blamed the family for his spouting the lie. First, he said, he couldn't get the records from DoD because ". . . without the family's consent it would be inappropriate". But, ". . . it was a Gold Star family themselves who approached me" (whose?). Then, "I understand the family of Sgt. Nicole Gee was, in their time of grief, confused regarding transportation proceedings". (!!!) And of course, finally, it was President Biden's fault - for trying to execute a half-ass fucked up withdrawal plan left by TFG in all his ineptness.
