FANA appoints Assistant Minister of International Affairs [1]

I was very pleased to learn that War Chief Frankie Red Wolf Gomes of the Mashapaug has been appointed as the Federation of Aboriginal Nations of the Americas’ (FANA) Assistant Minister of International Affairs.

He will be working with FANA’s Minister of International Affairs Principal Chief Dr. Ronald Yonaguska Holloway of the SandHill Band of Lenape and Cherokee Indians.

Assistant Minister of International Affairs, War Chief Gomes, will be reaching out to the tribes from New York City up the east coast through what was once known as the Pokanoket hunting grounds.

Part of his duties will be to assist the Minister of International Affairs, Principal Chief Dr. Holloway, in the writing of Treaties and Contracts between FANA and other Tribal Nations as FANA continues to expand.

He and I had a few phone conversations regarding what was needed to establish a medical clinic in Rhode Island. He is still assisting in the establishment of the medical pods that will soon be opening in Rhode Island as the sites have been decided upon and once the ordering of the necessary equipment and supplies are decided upon and set in place.
