First of all, I am not a lawyer but listening to the Fulton County defense attorneys request for severance is just ridiculous.

The way I understand RICO and conspiracy, all of the indicted conspirators got in the big pool to conspire to overthrow the 2020 election in Georgia. It doesn’t matter if 2 or 4 or 19 want different trials, it doesn’t make sense. I think the State is right to try them all equally and the jury can figure out who planned to do what. It is an insult to think a jury cannot figure out how involved each one is because I was always taught, when you are with folks who commit crimes...leading to the same crime. You should be sitting together as the Georgia DA wanted.

I keep hearing well, “ this defendent did not do that and should be severed from the case”. Really? I don’t care if for example one shot a gun, one loaded the gun, or one knew where there was a gun, does not matter which conspirator knew what. The witnesses are the same. The evidence is the same and all had a hand in committing a crime and all had different jobs. The person for example who drives a drive away car is just as much involved as the ones who held up the bank and who handed the note. Doesn’t matter.

It doesn’t matter if you are in the deep end of the pool or shallow end or the kiddie pool. Everyone decided to go swimming and all got wet. They can argue who is the most guilty can be argued in court during trial. Georgia cannot afford IMO 19 different juries.

I said I am not a lawyer but this is how I see it.
