Oh Stop! Just Stop! [1]

The time has come for Democrats to stop being the party of weakness and become the party of strength. Let’s face it, in their attempt to be statesmen-like, the Democrats often cede the mega-phone to the Republican talking heads. These Republican talking heads preen and posture with reckless abandon, often lying with the upmost conviction despite their arguments being void of facts. Yet the Democrats and the compliant media allow these fake talking points to hold the same sway as the facts, resulting in a generally confused electorate which for Republican’s, is the objective.

So, I say to the Democratic leadership and the compliant media, STOP IT! Stop with the false equivalencies. Stop allowing the Republicans to get the last word with trite falsehoods. Stop allowing the media to give the impression that “both sides do it.” Stop letting the bullies chase you off the playground with false bravado. And most of all, stop allowing the Republican’s to dominate every discussion, manage every topic, and flood the airwaves with “Alternative Facts”, aka LIES! Just STOP! The country needs you to defend our Democracy, with fervor!
