[1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2023-09-16 Donald Trump is hell bent on trying to start another violent uprising, this time by encouraging his supporters to terror attacks on government offices and buildings to create a national crisis if they incarcerate him pretrial. He imagines the same fools that went to prison over January 6th will do it again for him in some fashion. He firmly believes his own rhetoric. He will not stop. He cannot be silenced any other way other then by revoking bail. Trump making more threats. No additional time should be wasted. The JD should prepare a special place of confinement for him. His own private jail. I suggest on a military base or some remote defensible location until the trials begin. The Biden administration’s JD looks hopelessly weak and impotent. The media has built Trump up like a 800 pound gorilla. Give him what he wants. Make the prison/holding location as comfortable as possible with no internet but a T.V., comfortable rooms, monitored phone calls to his lawyers and all the cheese burgers he can eat. Disarm him. His mouth is equivalent to a loaded gun at the country’s head. Take the heat the Republicans will bring. This is a dry run for 2024. Show weakness now and the sky is the limit for what the Republicans will try to screw up in next year’s elections. They must move before elections that they will likely lose. Fascism cannot be defeated without drawing a line in the sand. They will employ any and all means to sabotage the elections. Sure there’s risk by jailing Trump. But there is more risk attached to doing nothing. Show his vicious posts on social media on national T.V. when the Republicans make noise.
