Hello, Daily Kos family!

I take it Jann Wenner has seriously chronic and persistent diarrhea of the mouth, along with a racist, sexist, small worldview. Yes, after what he said in an interview promoting his book, he was promptly removed from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I should mention he issued an "apology" after he was booted.

I won't be buying and reading his book after he called Black and women musicians "inarticulate". Yes, folks, he had the caucasity to say what he said. I'm hoping the publishers will pull his book for his "worldview". As much as I believe in free speech, I can't think of a reason to bankroll his racism and sexism.

First of all, I will listen to Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Living Color, Stevie Wonder, and other talented musicians because they had something to say and they left an indelible imprint in my soul.
