Menendez Must NOT Resign [1]

ALL of Congress accepts lobbying funds. And they react to the donation of these funds by doing something that the lobbyists want. Let’s be honest: lobbying “donations” are nothing but BRIBES! All in Congress are guilty (and wealthy) as a result.

Thus, Menendez has conveniently become a “whipping boy,” the one everyone sees. He should resign, only if the SUM TOTAL of members of the House, the Senate AND the Supreme Court (particularly Roberts, Thomas and Alito) resign at the same time.

The topic is covered in SO many books, e.g., the 2005 book by long time Washington Post reporter Robert G. Kaiser, “So Damn Much Money,” and the Harvard Law Professor, Lawrence Lessig’s 2011 book, “Republic Lost, How Money Corrupts Congress ….”

Questions: What about Santos? Is he resigning? Is Trump going to withdraw, after yesterday’s summary judgement?
