Of False Heroes And Why Open Fascism Is Not A Valid Policy Position [1]

So a constant refrain I’m seeing in the defense of Cassidy Hutchinson is about how she didn’t set policy in the Trump administration. This straight from the Nuremberg Defense argument is truly just…

WOW.

I just wasn’t aware that the moral bankruptcy had gotten this far even here so I’ll do a quick moral refresher for anyone who needs to be reminded that there is, in fact, a difference between right and wrong and you have the agency and moral imperative to act that way. Yes, even if it’s hard. And if it’s ESPECIALLY hard and costs you something that makes you a HERO.



And to fascism: It’s always evil, no matter what zombie shows and Star Wars say. There is no policy discussion or debate, it’s violence and dehumanizing by nature and antithetical to the very concept of “policy” because it will change on the whims of whatever mercurial idiot is put in charge, because they are not smart people and fascist governments do not function. If you don’t believe me, see Covid. You know where the policy went from lockdown to open when it turned out “ only minorities in blue states dying,” Fascism is always evil and it’s always obvious. Anyone says otherwise and you might wanna ask some probing questions.



You cannot be a functionary and knowingly serve fascists without being evil. You cannot aid them to “just get by” without being complicit in their crimes. And the best you can EVER be is “that ex-fascist who eventually helped the good guys.”



Do better guys, please. It’s bad enough the entire MSM has decided that fascism is a legitimate position in a democracy, we don’t have to do it here.
