Ah yes. The joys of tackling a new(er) subject (for me). Earlier I posted on Roy Spencer’s article predicting 1.9° C rise in temp. I was unaware of Spencer’s reputation and inappropriately trusted another website (phys.org) to filter out misleading information. After feedback from the community I first thought about tempering the language but then simply pulled it. Spencer’s work is simply not reliable enough.

I’m only writing this as both an apology and for a record that it was there and that I screwed up. But I didn’t want potentially misleading info to trend.

In my rush to push something out here I clearly didn’t do due diligence. I simply need to slow down and not trust other sites to filter out the misinformation. There is no quick way to quality work.

I’m sorry for the damage to what we’re trying to accomplish here.
