Covid Flavored Chewing Gum [1]

So I had teh covid a few weeks ago. Not badly so which is good because I have mild to moderate asthma. I am 4x vaxed but I was traveling in close quarters with someone else who came down with it and that’s where I caught it from after close exposure.

Was able to get paxlovid the same day I tested positive which is also fortunate.

And what they say about paxlovid giving a nasty, metallic taste in your mouth while tasting it is absolutely true, and that stays a few days after the course is completed.

The good thing was I tested negative 3 days after I started taking the med and never got beyond the stage of a moderate cold or flu. I was never at the stage of being dysfunctionally sick. Paxlovid works well and kicks ass!

The bad thing was that shitty taste along with the effects covid did have on me of course. So I had the bright idea of why don’t I try chewing gum to get the taste out of my mouth. Which worked for the very limited time the gum generated flavor, which as we all know is only a couple minutes.

After which, you guessed it, what I ended up with was covid flavored chewing gum. Well paxlovid flavored really but I can’t help but think about it as covid flavored.
