New Day Cafe: Sunday Sweetness As Octogre Begins [1]

Good morning, Newdists! As I am writing this, the House has agreed to a Continuing Resolution that they are sending to the Senate for confirmation, then on to POTUS.

While we are all relieved that the government will not shut down this weekend, this merely kicks the ball down the road to mid-November. You know...right before the holidays.

But those are not worries for today. Today we have coffee and yummy things and each other. Today….we play!!

Happy Octogre!!!!

Grab a cuppa and something yummy and join us for some fun.

All are welcome to join the fun, the silliness, the conversations. If you don’t know...just ask! Some things really do require a bit of explanation. There will be a few surprises along the way, all good ones, we hope. We are here to keep building the Daily Kos Community. We post Mon-Sun at 10:30 a.m. Eastern.
