Speaker McCarthy is out! Yay!

Matt Gaetz is still in Congress! Boo!

No, I mean, MEGA BOO! The man is awful, and if Kevin has to be booted due to being a feckless liar and scoundrel, Matt Gaetz should be packing his bags and exiting stage left with him.

Thankfully, whispers on Capital Hill are saying just that. Darling Kev has friends in high and, just as likely, low places. There is now a target on Gaetz's back, and the previous House ethics investigation into him may begin to heat up.

My thing is, yes, Matt Gaetz should be ousted, not simply for revenge but to send a message. If Gaetz gets away with a Knives Out approach to governance, we will wind up with a government that is in constant conflict—nothing will ever get done.

This may be the Washington chaos agents want, but America cannot survive this mess.

Kick his ass out, sooner than later.

Also—I came across this gem and had to share. I loved the last Fitzpatrick parody, but this one made me howl.
