New Day Cafe: Wednesday Whimsy [1]

Good morning, Cafe! Grab a cuppa and a nosh, and let’s gather ‘round for some fun.

When we first moved to England, we lived in a town that was on the flightpath to Heathrow. Imagine my surprise and delight when I got to see the Concorde fly over! We saw it several times a week, and years later, I got to tour one at the Duxford Imperial War Museum….tight quarters but to make that run in less than eight hours?? Wow!!

x Once upon a time you could travel from New York to London in 2 hours 52 minutes.
