The Republican Party is Evil! What Does Being "Evil" Mean? [1]

The emotional response I feel when I hear the word “evil” is one of fear, extremeness, unreasonablesness, harm and dislike. A perfect discription of Donald J. Thugliness and today's Republican party.

According to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy there are two basic forms of evil: Moral and Natural.

A good example of Natural Evil is something beyond our control that is destructive beyond belief, like what happened to my friend’s adult child. She went on vacation to the Massachusetts shore. She got bitten by a mosquito and get EEE, Eastern Equine Encephalitis. A disease so rare only approximately 10 people a year in the entire United States get infected. As a result, she died within a week and the world lost not only a young mother and wife, but also an activist who dedicated her life to making the world a better place. A tragedy of Shakespeareian proportions!

Moral evil, on-the-other-hand is a choice. Exhibit A: The Republican Revolt Against Democracy, explained in 13 charts. (By the way, Vox is a great progressive website). The Republican elite and rank-in-file wants to destroy Democracy and our way of life and replace it with violence and deception. That's evil, and we need to defeat evil by any means necessary!
