If Jim Jordan wins the House Speakership, what Happens in December 2024? [1]

Looking for election experts here. Trump has thrown his hat in the ring and endorsed Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House as per current news sources. We all know that Jim Jordan was one of the instigators of January 6, and led to the charge to throw out the 2020 election results.

The election results stood because, among other things, Democrats controlled the House. Now the GOP is in charge and will be in December 2024 when it comes time to certify the election.

So if Jim Jordan is the Speaker, what could he do to throw out any result that does not declare the GOP candidate the winner, and what can Democrats do to thrwart him?
