Am I the only one with this problem? [1]

I don’t know whether this diary will actually be published, but I’m trying anyway. And even if it does see the light of day on dKos, I don’t know whether I’ll be able to see it.

You see, for several days the site has been acting very strangely for me, yet I haven’t seen a diary title that tells me that something untoward is happening with anyone else.

The front page comes up just fine. But when I click on a diary or front page story — on any content really — what appears is this:

No diary, no story, no nothing except that message. And it’s been that way for days and days.

I use the Brave browser. I’ve cleared caches, closed all apps and programs, restarted my computer, rebooted the computer. Still the same thing.

I’ve also tried to get into dKos diaries on Chrome. No difference. I refuse to use MS Edge and its ilk.

I can do admin/background stuff — read Kosmail, examine my profile page, look at my lists of comments, diaries, followers, groups, and so forth. But if, say, I click on a diary link on a comment or on the listing of one of my old diaries, all I get is Something went wrong.

No, I haven’t sent anything to the Help Desk yet. I assumed that whatever was wrong would be corrected soon. Or that there would be an announcement or acknowledgment about it. Or that someone else who was experiencing the same thing would write a diary about it (of course, I’d only be able to see the “Recent Stories” title listing, but at least I’d know someone was aware of the situation).

I haven’t yet tried to preview this diary to see whether that process works. Saving as a draft is working, however.

The big test will be whether it can be successfully published. But if it is published, I don’t expect to be able to see the contents. Nor will I be able to read anyone’s comments on it. Sobeit.
