Shame on (some of) you [1]

I’ve been a lurker for a long time, and as an Israeli-American find myself in agreement with a lot of the progressive ideals championed here, with the exception of the I/P conflict. Which is not to say that I agree with Israel’s policies in general. However, at the risk of a ban or what not, because I am outraged...



These last ~40 hours have been very telling. The amount of people on this website who refuse to condemn, or apologize for, or go through whatabout-ism hoops to justify the atrocities committed by Hamas in Israel — is sadly not surprising, but telling.



It seems the mantra for these people is “War Crimes for me but not for thee”. These war crimes are justified because Israel did it too. Or because Israel is stronger. Or whatever.

The abduction of 3 year old kids and 85 year old elderly people is acceptable. The burning of homes to force civilians out so they can be shot or kidnapped is acceptable. Firing thousands of rockets at civilian population centers is acceptable.



A big number of “progressives” on this website need to take a long, long look in the mirror. Shame on you.
