Arnold Schwarzenegger for House Speaker [1]

I just saw Arnold on ABC’s “The View” today, October 9, 2023, and he would make the perfect Speaker of the House for this time period. Hakeem Jeffries should get all the Democrats and 5 more Republicans and vote for Arnold. Democrats have 213 seats and 218 is needed to elect a speaker.

He’s a Republican and he’s for working together to get things done. Arnold said, “I felt people voted for me and I became the leader of 40 million because they wanted me to be a public servant and not a party servant. There’s a difference. … I sat down with Democrats and said I wanted to work with you. I said this state cannot operate without Republicans and Democrats working together. [So], what can we do together?” And, Arnold talked about all the things he did together with both parties, mostly climate change policies.

He said, “when they only think about party and not people, they only care about getting reelected…We need both parties to make the country great, because the county is like a sports team. You don’t go to a sports team and say, ‘Are you a Democrat or Republican? Well, I’m not going to pass the ball to you if you are a Republican.’ There’s no such thing. They all work together and that’s how the team wins. And America can only win, if we all work together.”

He also might “knock the heads together” (just kidding) of the house Freedom Caucus members and set them straight.
