So much for fences [1]

This diary is not to start a pie fight or take any stance on the attack on Israel but to point out the obvious . The border between Israel and the Gaza strip was one of the most heavily defended border areas in the world and that fence didn’t stop a determined people to cross it . I was having a debate about the border fence with a trumpist friend when the news broke about the attack and I looked at him and said “well there you go” . We as a country need a policy to deal with our border but fences and landmines won’t do the trick .
