Stand Against Antisemitism and with the Jewish people [1]

The Jewish community and the Nation of Israel needs our undeviating love and support. Antisemitism and hate-speech in general is unacceptable, whether it comes from the far-right, the far-left, or anywhere in between. Please, if you see something, say something. Please be careful with your words. Don’t let hateful words go unacknowledged or unchecked. Nobody deserves what is now happening to the people in Israel.



We must stop history from repeating itself. It all starts with our words. I am committed now more than ever before to standing with the Jewish people and stopping hate in its tracks. I want to do better and be better, and be an advocate for all marginalized groups.



I may not be Jewish, but I know a little bit about what it feels like to be different and not always understood or fully accepted.

I don't even know how to process the heartbreak: Israeli soldiers continuing to clear homes in Southern Israel happen upon a Kibbutz where they found in one building, 40 babies slaughtered, some beheaded by Hamas. In another, entire families, women and children, massacred.

How does one process the grief, while seeing comments and posts from their fellow Americans with a variety of they deserved it, and but ....? Or the silence altogether for these atrocities?

And what of life here as Americans? We just got to the other side the Trump era, during which there was a historic increase of antisemitism. We endured the deadliest massacre of American Jews at the Tree of Life Synagogue from the far right, and of course the "Jews will not replace us" and continual threats from Neo-Nazi and other far-right hate groups.

Now here we are in the Biden era, and this time it's the far-left, many of whom are openly celebrating the massacre of Israeli innocents. Read what is happening on some of our college campuses. All the 1,000 dead and others kidnapped, etc., well they deserve it, because of .... (you fill in the blanks). Hamas is justified in massacring and kidnapping women, children, the elderly, the disabled, Holocaust survivors because...

Good people on both sides again.

It's a sickness as old as time. Jews are the enemy. Jews are subhuman. We control all the wealth and all the power, so we deserve it. We deserve to be bloodied and persecuted and massacred, because .....Hamas is just the latest version of the Inquisitions, the pogroms, the Holocaust of massacring Jews!

If you support your friends who are American Jews, come out into the light of day. Post something. Call out hate in comments. Be a voice for us, the way we are a voice for you when Black, Asian, LGBTQ, women and others are under attack.

In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
