[1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2023-10-11 Hamas has/are committing atrocities, this is as clear as daylight. It was stupid, shortsighted, and suicidal. I have stated this over and over again but I will not stoop to racist rhetoric and dehumanisation to condemn them. I would ask Hamas to release their hostages, you are in your end game, at least try to find some kindness in your hearts before the end. Right now back to the question. Gaza’s single power station has now shut down, it is out of fuel. Hospitals in Gaza emergency generators will run out of fuel in 2 to 3 days. Telecommunications are becoming extremely difficult borderline impossible. There is no escape, there is not one humanitarian corridor open. At what point does thirst and starvation begin? At what point does disease begin to spread? Just remember most people live in apartment blocks, no electricity means no water or elevators. The UNRWA refugee camps are obviously in the same situation. I hope there is no ground invasion, the death toll on both sides in Gaza and the rest of Israel will be tragic.
