I followed a link in on the Newsweek site, and found myself in a parallel universe. Like that episode of Star Trek where parallel universe Spock was bad and had a beard. The Spock in this case is one Jessica Anderson, who represents some kind of PAC called www.sentinelactionfund.com — “We Back Conservative Champions”.

Now, is it not deeply ironic that both the PAC she represents and the Dark Money in politics of which she complains, are both manifestations of the most pernicious of those rulings by the right-wing Supreme Court justices, Citizens United? She would surely approve that ruling as she fronts just such a dark money organisation herself.

For fun, let’s look up this Sentinel Fund. What can we find?

Here are their declared funds raised this year. And they spent…. Half of it on “Operating expenses”. What did the gullible idiots get for their donations? Payments to “research” and “consulting” firms mainly. MAGA by flushing your donations into the pockets of the already rich. But then, that’s what it’s always been about.
