Greg Dworkin came by to let us know that there’s no indication that House Republicans intend to rise to the occasion of the international crisis situation any time soon. But we already knew that.

The order of the day, though, was for them to decide along what path they would f@#k things up next. And at least one outside group with a deep interest in the race to succeed McCarthy is speaking up, to say no to Gym Jordan.

Oh, and also, Nancy Mace wanted to make sure you were looking at her. Probably sideeyed.

And Tommy Tuberville… hmm, need a football analogy so he understands what I’m saying… let’s say, threw an ill-advised challenge flag. This even as he continues to screw several pooches with his… delay of game penalties.

Then, there’s Israel.

What a relief that we have a real president in office for this. Israel itself is not so lucky in that regard. But we don’t escape blame just because we’ve jettisoned our idiot.

The international community is handling things laudably, too. Italy set off an irony meter or two, however. But it was still a nice effort.

And in other, other news: One of Wisconsin’s own Republican former Supreme Court Justices says their impeachment idea is kinda wrong and dumb. And ProPublica says Leonard Leo’s ideas about the federal judiciary are, too. But it’s too late.
