Kucinich Out as Chair of RFK-Jr's Independent Presidential Campaign After 4 Days [1]

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. may have been too nutty even for Dennis Kucinich, former Congressman and failed presidential candidate. Just this afternoon the NY Times reported that Kucinich is not going to continue chairing the anti-science, anti-vaxxer Kennedy’s campaign. It takes a great deal to be too nutty for Dennis Kucinich, who apparently quit.

Kennedy announced his candidacy for president as an Independent just earlier this week, on Monday, October 9, with Kucinich chairing the campaign. Kucinich seemed like such a good fit for conspiracy-theorist RFK Jr. Kucinich is best remembered for insisting that he sighted UFOs from outer space and so admitting at a Democratic primary debate. He felt a vibe — those aliens were trying to communicate with him. Yes, sir!

Worse, he openly praised and supported Syrian president and dictator Bashar al-Assad, one of the most murderous dictators on earth.

Kucinich also was a staunch defender of Micahel Flynn, and opponent of action against Muammar Gaddafi. He generally warned that Russia had good intentions in Eastern Europe.

Kucinich’s previous claim to fame was his presidential runs in 2004 and 2008, where he reached about 1% of the vote in most of the primaries, including Iowa and New Hampshire, and then started suits to remain on the debate stage. His record as an anti-abortionist, which he later tried to walk back, did not help, but it is clearly in line with RFK Jr’s shifting positions on pro-choice, though their shifts are the reverse of one another.

In his last dealings with Congress, Kucinich sued the House of Representatives Cafeteria because he bit an olive pit and broke his tooth biting into a free sandwich. But RFK Jr. was apparently even too nutty for Dennis Kucinich. When asked for comment this afternoon by the New York Times, the campaign’s press secretary was learning for the first time that Kucinich had left.

As if to prove he is a Kennedy, RFK Jr. replaced Kucinich with his daughter-in-law, who now chairs his campaign. Her name is Chairperson Kennedy. A nice emulation of Trump, whose son-in-law, Jared Something, ran his campaign while hiding behind a log.
