Street Prophets Coffee Hour [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2023-10-15 Welcome to the Street Prophets Coffee Hour, the place where politics meets up with religion, science, art, nature, and life. Come in, have a cuppa and a cookie (or three!) and join us. Autumn is trying to move in. We missed yesterday’s eclipse because of the clouds all day long, and I regret that. It isn’t the first eclipse I’ve seen nor the first I’ve missed. There will be another in April that’s visible in the US, Mexico, and Canada but not another annular, or Ring of Fire, eclipse until 2046. I’m likely to miss that one, no matter the visibility. If you, too, missed the eclipse for whatever reason, NASA has us covered. Watch the replay. It’s real time, so be prepared for nearly 2 hours, unless you want to jump to highlights. And here are a few photos from NASA, not the eclipse but beautiful. While you’re here, check out this week’s Community Needs List. There may be someone you can give some help.
