So I have been on DK for like 15 years . T.U. Full MOJO and for the very first time got a comment removed, a donut tossed, a pie thrown at me as it were . I was shocked ! Shocked I say . I was a little mad to be truthful . I was here during the Hillary/ Obama/sanders wars ect . I was here when this was a all volunteer writer site. I was here even when KOS was just a blogger and not a CEO of a company trying to break a strike lol . That part . I got a comment removed on one of many diaries about the attack on Israel . The writer was trying to gain support for the refugees in the Gaza strip and the title of the diary was Are you guys aware that Israel has cut off water, power and any means of escape from their bombing? I left a comment saying It is what it is . I did not take a side . We cannot control what Israel does or what terrorist do in the Gaza strip . I guess people just don’t want to hear the reality of the situation but IT IS WHAT IT IS . My comment was a statement of fact .We used to have rules about comment removal flags ect but I guess now that we on DK have become so big that we have paid writers and the such and trying to collect user fees we no longer worry about realty. We have become a version of FACEBOOK and can get thrown in jail simply because someone doesn't like a comment . It used to be a comment was removed for clear reasons and everyone knew the rules. If there was a vague violation usually it took several down votes and other trusted users took this responsibility seriously . War and terrorism is a terrible thing . Death and destruction . People going without ect . But when a war happens bad things happen and IT IS WHAT IT IS ……..P.S.

DO NOT flag someone just because you disagree with them. Flags are intended for seriously offensive comments that other users (and site lurkers) should not read. Believe it or not, people disagree on stuff!
