Have The Problem Solvers Ever Solved a Problem? [1]

This isn’t so much as a diary as a question. Like No Labels, the Problem Solvers has allegedly been a group of GOP and Dem congress moderates who claim to have a shared goal to solve problems that may not be resolved, or are actually caused, by extremist parts of each party’s left or right wing. How noble of them.

The thing is I don’t know how long these Problem Solvers have been around, but if there was ever a time for these great and hallowed “centrists” or “moderates” to come down on white winged horses to save the day, this would kind of be it. Europe is at war with Russia, China is threatening its neighbors and us. N. Korea is promising more nukes, and now Israel and Gaza are in flames. The country is going to run out of money in less than four weeks bringing the country to a halt, laying off workers, closing services and destroying the best economy in 50 — 70 years. If ever there were a time for the Problem Solvers to fly into town with their flowing capes and lycra onesies this would be time to do it. The fact they have yet to do it begs my question. Has the Problem Solvers ever actually solved any problem?
