Just a quicky here. Judge Chutkan mildly restricted what DJT can say regarding attacking everybody as racistthugderangedmonstersthatiwantyoutoattack, which everyone knows won’t matter and won’t work, but i had to laugh at how brazen his likely unpaid lawyers were in response…

“President Trump (so hard to write that still) will continue to fight for our Constitution, the American people’s right to support him (keep in mind the word “support” here), and to keep our country free of the chains of weaponized and targeted law enforcement (what say yee Bil Barr on that one?).”

Meanwhile, in Colorado, his lawyers just filed their rebuttal to the CREW suit to keep him off the ballot citing the 14th amendment insurrection clause. Their reason being that his presidential oath only said to defend and uphold, but not to “support” the constitution. So yeah, insurrection is a matter of semantics.

I can’t even...how is this a thing? I feel like i”m in a Stranger Things episode. The Upside-down. But people will debate this idiocy as if its a reasonable question.
