Ken Buck And Anonymous Jordan Supporter Agree: "NO" Vote Likely To Grow In Second Round Of Voting. [1]

No link yet, but Congressman Ken Buck of CO predicted that the “NO” vote on Jordan for House Speaker is likely to grow in second round of voting. This was “confirmed” by an anonymous Republican who voted “YES” on Jordan. Buck says the number may be 8 to 10 more “NO” votes, while the anonymous source says, “5 to 6.”

Both agree that the reason for those Republicans House members changing their vote is because — wait for it — those voting for Jordan only did so on the the FIRST ROUND of voting! That was their promise!

Now, some might say that this is typical politicking. And it’s very possible that is what is going on. However, I wonder if this is a payback. Jordan told the caucus that he would support Scalise ONE TIME ONLY! Then, Scalise was to turn around and support Jordan.

We will have to wait and see.
